Protecting furniture on a move

Sofas and tables use blankets and covers. Loose goods still use a carton.

The furniture range

Furniture protection lists Jiffy furnisoft and furniguard bubble laminate, removal transit blankets and polythene covers. That is the wrap for a sofa, a table or another piece that travels outside a carton.

Bubble wrap, including small, large, biodegradable and paper bubble, is for items inside a carton: glass, crockery and similar goods. Jiffy foam is the lightweight, CFC-free sheet for glass, crockery, cutlery and electronics.

The carton is still required

A blanket does not hold books. Those go in a double wall removal carton. Order the covers and the cartons together if the move has both.

Orders placed by 3pm are dispatched the same day. UK delivery is free on orders over £50 ex VAT.
